Heartland Home Health, Inc. provides dependable and affordable In-home care. Our goal is to help seniors stay healthy and happy, in their own homes, for as long as possible.

Calling Simi Valley home for over 19 years, Heartland Home Health was founded to help those who cannot help themselves.

Its current owner and president, John Strellner, chose the name “Heartland” to express Mid-America values. Several years ago, John was visiting his Grandmother in Iowa who, at the time, was 102. Grandma never locked her doors, she always left the keys in the car and she could count on her community… a handshake and a promise were as good as gold. The core values and culture of the organization rest on these ideals. Heartland is built on a solid foundation of professionalism, quality work, trust, integrity, compassion and commitment. Everyone is accountable and committed to upholding these core values.

Since its inception, the company has grown and expanded year over year. In addition to Home care services, Heartland offers mobility, fall prevention, and estate services as well.

For Seniors, fall and mobility issues are a major threat and fall statistics are grim. The risk often goes unrecognized, is dismissed, or education and resources are not readily available.

Senior Safety Solutions, a division of Heartland Home Health, focuses on proactive fall prevention and mobility solutions. Every day Seniors face these challenges. Senior Safety Solutions helps to reduce fall fatalities and injuries, improving quality of life.

Community oriented, Heartland Home Health and Senior Safety Solutions serve those most vulnerable in our society. The organization is very active in the community and strives to educate and protect those most at risk. Separate from business activities, the company offers community services such as fall prevention seminars, referral services, training, and other senior orientated resources and services.

Veteran owned, honored to serve the nation, as well as the elderly, the founder is a veteran of the U.S. Army and served as an “Airborne Ranger” in the elite 2nd Ranger Battalion.
